Little Aces Tennis Classes

Introducing Kids to Tennis in a Fun and Rewarding Way

Little Aces is a grassroots program designed to introduce children between the ages of 3 and 7 to the game of tennis in a fun and rewarding way. Tailoring the equipment and dimensions size of the playing court to the size, needs and athletic ability of young children, “little aces “ program enables them to learn tennis quickly while at the same time having fun. This experience will encourage them to continue playing tennis rather than being frustrated into an “easier” sport.

Make The tennis Game Fit The Child

Tennis is not just for adults - Little Aces helps kids as young as 3 understand the basics of the gam

Just as it would be difficult to imagine 3-7 year olds having any success learning to ski using adult-sized skis and poles, it’s equally tough for a child to learn to hit a forehand or backhand when the court is too large, the racket too heavy, and the ball too fast.

Little Aces program provides the equipment and guidelines to run a successful program for children 3-7 years old. The courts are shorter, the nets are lower, the rackets are smaller and lighter, and the balls are lightweight foam and the lesson plans provide an enjoyable learning experience. by matching the game to their size and athletic ability, our program lets children enjoy tennis from their first time on the court.

At Little Aces, tennis court is one-fourth the size of a regular court. This means children are no longer overwhelmed with the sheer distance in which they have to hit the ball or how far they have to run. The net is 28” high, almost a foot shorter than a regulation net. This allows children to see over the net, not just through it.

The entire design of little aces program tennis equipment takes into the consideration the limited strength of a child. The balls are light weight, high bounce foam and move a bit slower than a regular tennis balls. The slower pace of the ball accommodates the smaller steps a child takes to successfully hit over the net. Strength and coordination are not as critical for achieving early success because children of this age group are still developing their motor skills.

All this is very important to the overall concept of Little Aces Tennis. The small amount of strength required allows the children to hit the ball with a more fundamentally sound stroke instead of swinging as hard as possible to mar

e the ball clear the net.
